The Central California coast is home to a variety of different species of fungi, lichen, and mosses. During the winter months, I sustainably forage a variety of species as well as growing some species indoors all year round. After cleaning and drying, a process that takes about 4 weeks, I preserve these beautiful specimens in plant-based epoxy.
