• Must have at least an Open Water Diver certification.

• Equipment not included.

• Dive site based on skill level and conditions (shore entry/exit).

• Groups of 1-4 divers.

• $65 per person/dive

Looking to begin or upgrade your underwater photography or video skills? Or maybe you just want proof that you went in the ocean...either way...this experience is fully customizable to what you want!

Options:

1. Guided snorkel or dive tour to have photos and videos made just for you.

2. GoPro Lesson: join me for a snorkel or dive session following a short workshop on how to get the most out of your GoPro underwater.

3. Olympus TG Lesson: join me for a snorkel or dive session following a short workshop on how to get the most out of your Olympus TG underwater camera. 

4. Land-Based Workshop: join me top side for a personalized workshop on anything you want help with including lighting, framing, editing, and more.

Want to learn how to forage and press your own algae? 

Join me for an afternoon of learning about and collecting your own algae specimens in Monterey followed by a tutorial on how to press them either at home or I will do it for you to pick up when the process is complete!

• Private and group workshops available.

• Date and time based on tide and season.

• This is for recreation only, not commercial sale - all algae collection will be done responsibly and sustainably.

Join me for a hike in the one of my favorite fungi foraging spots in Monterey. While some of what we find may be edible, the goal of this workshop is to find and collect species of fungi and lichen that are often gone ignored for the purpose of drying and preserving for art. 

Once dried (about 2-4 weeks later) the second half of the workshop will take place where we will transform our specimens into whatever type of art you choose with my help!

• Open to individual or groups.

• Time and date based on weather and season.

• 2 options available: 

  • 1 day workshop: collect and preserve your specimens at home, or;​

  • 2 day workshop (about 2-4 weeks apart) join me for an additional day of using the specimens you collected to make art together.
